Erotic Figure Drawing - "Buckeroo Gabriel"

Giddy Up! This weeks round of sketches features more Gabriel and his uncut trouser snake! You can tell I was particularly fond of the evenings cowboy theme considering the costume selection has been mostly jockstraps & tank tops lately. Not that I don't like tanks & jocks but this was a refreshing switch.  

Erotic Figure Drawing - Devon

Its good practice to draw ALL body types but being a lover of super heroes, (and being a gay man with eyes) its a lil extra fun when I get to draw a male model with a stacked bod, and Devon's heroic frame definitely fit the bill. Matter of fact he looked even more stacked this second time around. ( I first drew Devon last summer) It doesn't hurt that he's a really nice guy and great at holding more complicated poses without being fidgety. 

Erotic Figure Drawing - Gabriel

I was pretty excited to draw Gabriel this past Wednesday considering the recent rave review from a fellow artist. The session was a success and you could tell he was having just as much fun posing as the artists drawing. He had a great smile, although I didn't get to capture it here, extremely personable, and easy on the eyes. After exchanging instagrams I realized I had drawn Gabriel a few times already but didn't recognize him thanks to some added muscle and a shaved head. lol The weight looks good on him though, and in all the right places as you can see here ;) 

Chilly Will

This past weekend I got snowed in, which I kind've like. It enhances the coziness of home and nudges you to enjoy all the things indoors that we (sometimes) forget about while being out and about on a consistent basis. I enjoyed some tea, cocoa, and a few extended hours of Final Fantasy XIV but my most fruitful takeaway from the weekend has to be my new original character (or OC) Chilly Will! His creation is inspired by a few things including that "Polar Bear" group that likes to go out nude in the winter, Will Smith and his coat from the Gettin Jiggy Wit It video, my vague memory of the cartoon character with a similar name, and of course, all the snow we got. Will is quite the exhibitionist who has a fondness for adventure and penguins, and showing off regardless of weather conditions. 

Best of 2015

Man, I get so busy updating my Tumblr, Instagram, and other social media that I forget to update here. Just to cover bases I wanted to share my best of 2015 post and say thank you to everyone who's been supportive thus far. No matter it be a friend, fan, patron, model, you're all appreciated and I can't wait to include more of you in my work in this new year.

"Hooking-Up" w/ Class Comics for The Hook-Ups Meaty

With all the other social media platforms I'm maintaining, I sometimes forget to update the home base, including my latest collab with Class Comics. This go round featured myself as well as several other erotic artists illustrating or "Hooking-Up" characters from all over the Class Comics Universe.

As always I had fun with this, even more so because I usually do solo pinups. It also gave me an excuse to draw something really dirty lol. I haven't spoken much about who inspires me but among those that do Belasco is certainly in the top rung, so when Gene Lightfoot asked me to contribute a piece for his birthday I was more than Happy! I remember when I first saw his work YEARS ago. I scoured the Internet to find as much work of his as possible. I'd go further but this post isn't about me, and of course he needs no introduction so I just wanted to say, thanks and Happy Birthday to one of the best in the biz! Hope you enjoy my tribute to you!

I met Donnie at my last art show. He was a nice friendly guy, cheerful, pleasant, not full of himself, and it didn't hurt that he was pretty easy on the eyes. Considering that and the fact that I always had work or a prior engagement the last few times he modeled, I was looking forward to finally adding him to my sketchbook. Lets just say I wasn't disappointed.

As far as the drawings themselves, I think my enthusiasm shows and Im particularly happy with how the more loose sketches came out. I have a habit of being a bit tight with my renderings so this was a good change of pace. I think I'll try it more often!

March News - Commissions/Art Show/Google Porn Nonsense

So a few things, both good & not so good, have happened since I've last posted here. Im a positive person so I'm going to lead with the positive. Here we go!

1. ANOTHER SATISFIED CUSTOMER

 My last post from Feb. shared a preview of a commission I was working on which I have since completed! My inner graphic designer surfaced when working on these and I love how clean, bright and streamlined they came out...so did my client! Larger separate versions on my TUMBLR. Speaking of, commission slots have re-opened, feel free to contact me now as production will pick back up sometime next month. Why the wait? See number 2!

2. NEW ART SHOW

I'll be in the "DIRTY LITTLE DRAWINGS" exhibition, hosted by the Leslie Lohman Museum of Gay & Lesbian Art. March 27-29. I've been working on lots of new drawings this month hence me having to hold off on commissions til next. I'll be posting previews throughout the month and an official invite on Monday! If you're in the NYC area, come by and say hello!

3. GOOGLE'S PORN POLICY FLIP-FLOP

As many of us know by now, Google further tightened their restrictions on adult content and then quickly changed their minds by the following week. (Update posted below)

I appreciate the reversal on such tight censorship but honestly all the back & forth combined with their history of deleting adult blogs randomly leaves me feeling uneasy about remaining here. For now I'll stay & continue to update but I'll be focusing more on my tumblr, instagram & twitter. You can follow all three from the top right hand corner. I'll also be creating a Facebook fan page so stay tuned for that as well. If anyone has any suggestions on other platforms to call home, drop me a line.

Holiday Hiatus Update

Hey folks, I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! I think I ate about 5 plates of food in 3 different states all in one day! I know it's been quite some time since Ive last updated! While some of life's other priorities have come to the forefront, I am however still alive and still drawing. I may not update as often but I WILL be updating, so stay tuned 'cause I'm not going anywhere.

I've been quite busy lately, and I think I'm only going to get busier as the summer approaches, but I couldn't just abandon celebrating my first year as an erotic artist! So far I've been more in the "pin-up" arena with my work but I wanted to get a little more uninhibited, and thanks to my buddy Herc posing for me again, I was able to do just that. I blame my recent trip to the fetish fueled, Black Party Expo.

Re-Election Erection

Man did I feel dirty drawing this! (But that's probably why I kept doing it lol) Lets be honest though, our President isn't exactly hard on the eyes so why not. Even though I've gone and sexualized Mr. Obama, I have to say I am quite proud to have witnessed the 2nd inauguration of our 1st African American president, especially hearing the shout-out for gay rights, and on the day we celebrated the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  These are the kind of moments I'll be proud to reflect upon and share with my grandchildren years to come, many, many, years to come.

Happy Birthday JC!!! / Anti-Heroes Fan Art

Today marks the first post of the new year and my first piece of fan art for JC over at Anti-Heroes (featuring Caleb Chaos). He's celebrating his birthday today, and since we've been friends long enough, I don't mind drawing him things for free. (insert laugh track)
